TNMU students organized a charity fundraisning event

On the occasion of International Day of Older Persons, a charitable event was held at I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University. Students of all faculties participated in the fundraising. Almost every student willingly took part in the initiative of our volunteers. By joint efforts students managed to raise 10 thousand hryvnias.

For the money raised students have purchased a freezer and blender. All purchases were previously agreed upon with the Director of Petrykiv Regional Geriatric Boarding House Stepan Hlushko.

Ten volunteers (Oksana Pobihushka (organizer of the event), Halyna Hurska, Svitlana Pronchuk, Alina Holenko, Victoria Yurkiv, Andriana Yarynych, Iryna Burmas, Olena Bezkorovaina, Bohdanna Turchyk and Stepan Vaskevych) had a chance to visit this institution with the purchased gifts and to communicate with the older people.
