TNMU students organized a holiday for children

On the occasion of the upcoming Saint Nicholas Day, New Year and Christmas holidays, students of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University organized a charity event “Share the warmth of your heart with an orphan”.

Within a month, medical students, living in TNMU hostel №3, raised funds for the purchase of gifts for the children of Ternopil Orphanage “Maliatko” in Ternopil. 

A total of UAH 2,600 was raised. At first, the students planned to buy sweets for the kids, but at the request of the administration, they purchased the necessary medicines and diapers. They presented all these products to the head of the orphanage. In addition, students had the opportunity to spend a wonderful time with the children from “Maliatko”. It was one of the best gifts – to share the warmth of hearts and give attention to those who need it.

The event was organized by Tetiana Poliukhovych and Oskana Myronchuk. The main goal of the initiators of the event was to help children feel the care and warmth that is very important to them.

TNMU students had a very pleasant experience, because the sincerity and love of children is the most precious of all possible ways to say thank you. Once again, they made sure that any effort and time spent on children was worth it.
