TNMU Students Organized an Online Lecture “Volunteer!”

“Volunteering is a useful habit of every Ukrainian, one more step to victory!”, it was with this slogan that students of our university, Sofiia Berehuliak and Mariia Solomakhina, organized an online lecture with the support of TNMU Student Parliament and the Ukrainian Volunteer Service.

The purpose of the event was to encourage students to volunteer with the help of an analytical story about this type of activity. Thanks to the lecturer – representative of the Ukrainian Volunteer Service – Artur Khorunzhyi, young people learned about different types of volunteering, its advantages and disadvantages, and its importance today.

“Many students have already joined the ranks of volunteers, but unfortunately, after six months of full-scale invasion, many have left the activity. Today, most headquarters are on the verge of closure. Therefore, it is important to motivate people to this type of activity,” the organizers say.

The lecture was held on the MS Teams platform. The students liked the information, many became interested in this field of activity and expressed desire to join volunteering in Ukraine.
