TNMU Students Taught Schoolchildren to Protect Their Eyesight

On March 8, 2024, TNMU fifth-year students Anastasia Sloboda (MM-515) and Olha Svoboda (MM-512) gave a lecture on the topic “Eye Hygiene” for students of Ternopil Secondary School No. 24.

They talked about how the human vision analyser works, about the most common eye diseases, their main symptoms, causes and prevention. The participants of the lecture also discussed methods of vision correction, the advantages and disadvantages of each of them.

Students received advice on how to preserve their eyesight, how to work at a computer, watch TV, and read books without harming their health. At the end of the lesson, the students together with the schoolchildren performed a set of gymnastics for vision training.
