TNMU Volunteer Centre Receives Assistance from Partners and Distributes it to the Hostilities Areas

During the three-week confrontation of Ukrainians against Russian invasion, the Volunteer Centre of Ternopil National Medical University receives considerable assistance from its international partners and distributes it to our defenders, territorial defence representatives and temporarily displaced persons.

As for clothes, sleeping bags, mats, hygiene products, TNMU received them from:

– International Assistance Headquarters for Ukrainians, Ukrainian restaurant “Prosperity” (London), volunteers and concerned citizens of Great Britain (first gear: clothes – 6000 kg, hygiene products – 5000 kg, second gear: hygiene products 6 kg);

– Children’s Aid Foundation (Renata Blecha, Dominika Blecha, Zywiec, Poland) (sleeping bags, coats, blankets, pillows, children’s clothing, clothing for adults, hygiene products for children and adults, bed linen – 400 kg);

The TNMU Volunteer Centre distributed the proceeds as follows:

– for the needs of temporarily displaced persons in Ternopil (clothing – 780 kg, hygiene products – 230 kg);

– Charitable Foundation “Caritas Ternopil” (clothes for children and adults – 300 kg, hygiene products – 100 kg);

– sleeping bags, clothes, shoulders and mats – 450 kg, as well as hygiene products 70 kg were given to the Armed Forces;

– for the needs of City Multidisciplinary Prof. M. Rudniev Clinical Hospital of Mother and Child (Dnipro) (hygiene products – 50 kg);

– TPO (Ternopil): clothes – 718 kg, blankets, blankets, thermoses – 565 kg, hygiene products – 86 kg.
