TSMU Congratulated Uzhhorod National University on a Significant Anniversary

Recently, one of the partners of Ternopil State Medical University in educational and healthcare areas Uzhhorod National University celebrated its 70th anniversary. On behalf of the rector of TSMU Professor Mykhailo Korda, the Vice-Rector for Science, Education and Clinical Affairs Professor Stepan Zaporozhan and the Associate Professor of the Department of Dental Surgery Vitalii Shcherba congratulated the university.

At the ceremonial meeting of the Uzhhorod National University Academic Council on the occasion of its 70th anniversary, the Deputy Minister of Education and Science Andrii Hevko, the academician of NAMS Mykola Polishchuk took part, as well as honorary guests from Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Romania, Lithuania, Germany, Switzerland and the United States of America.

“During the visit to Uzhhorod National University we met with the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Professor Oleksandr Boldizhar and discussed further cooperation between our universities. We also managed to learn more about the work of the university dental clinic. Experience of the Uzhhorod colleagues is important for us, because similar educational and medical center is also going to be opened at the Faculty of Dentistry of TSMU. The Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry Professor Yevhen Kostenko expanded on the learning and treatment process arrangement at the dental clinic,” Stepan Zaporozhan noted.
