TSMU Rector met with representatives of international students’ associations
It has become a tradition that each month during the school year rector of Ternopil State Medical University Professor Mykaylo Korda meets with the heads of international students’ associations to discuss current issues.
The most recent meeting took place on October 12, 2016. To participate in it came students from Poland, Ghana, Nigeria, Iraq, India and other countries. The young people shared their suggestions how to improve the learning environment at the university and living conditions in the dorms.
Dr. Korda, in turn, told the students that even before the New Year a student cafe will open in one on the dorms on Zhivova street. This will be a place where young people can organize various meetings and events. Currently, the space is being repaired and renovated.
The head of the University also urged the students to use library located in one of the Zhivova dorms, which has books required for the classes and Internet access. Dr. Korda also gave an update on the ongoing work to create a modern gym on campus, which is slated to open in September 2017.
