TSMU Rector met with the newly elected Student Council
Recently, Ternopil State Medical University students held Student Council elections. For almost all of the newly elected members this is the first time participating in student governance. Their more experienced colleagues, previous council members, are ready to lend a hand, share their knowledge and provide assistance.
Traditionally, each month Ternopil State Medical University Rector, Professor Mykhaylo Korda meets with representatives of the student government. This time, during 2 December meeting, head of the university talked with the students about most recent innovations, improvements in living conditions and academic work. Dr. Korda stressed the importance of feedback from students, as this this enables university administration to better understand the needs of young people, respond to their proposals and resolve problems.
Chairman of the Student Council, Ihor Stetsiuktold that so far they were able to build a good, outline responsibilities and draft a strategy for the nearest future.
