TSMU staff delivered yet another humanitarian shipment form Canada to military hospitals
Former TSMU employees Bohdan Boichuk and Nadiia Arkhipova continue providing humanitarian medical assistance to Ukrainian hospitals. Today they live and work in Canada, but always keep in their thoughts those in need in their homeland. The most recent shipment of humanitarian aid they have sent contained medical supplies and was designated to the Lviv Military Hospital to cover the needs of its surgical and rehabilitation departments, as well as to the military unit A4615 hospital in Dnipro.
Associate Professors of the Department of Children’s Diseases and Pediatric Surgery Tamara Vorontsova and Inga Kubei, as well as Associate Professor of the Department of Oncology Myroslav Dombrovich, oversaw delivering of the cargo to Lviv military hospital. This particular shipment contained spinal care consumables , colostomy systems, systems for intravenous infusions, respirator masks, disposable gowns, urology catheters and other supplies. Our team received thanks from the medical service colonel Ivan Bohdan, who then sent the goods the pharmacy division of the hospital.
Another part of the shipment was mailed to TSMU alumnus Mykhailo Denysiuk, who now studies at the military academy and is doing an internship in the Dnipro‘s military unit A4615 hospital. The parcels contained medical products for the surgical and resuscitation departments. Mykhailo is an active member of the NGO White Berets, assisting servicemen wounded in eastern Ukraine.
The Volunteer Team of TSMU wishes to thank Rector Dr. Korda for providing transportation and overall support of their efforts. TSMU administration extends their sincere thanks to Bohdan Boichuk and Nadiia Arkhipova for their tireless charitable work and devotion to Ukrainian causes.
