TSMU Student is a runner-up of the nationwide contest Best Student of Ukraine

Recently in Uzhgorod a civic association Student Republic held the super finals of the nationwide competition Best Student Ukraine and beauty contest The First Lady of Ukraine. In the last three years regional rounds determined the winners in contests for best researcher, best public speaker, and others. TSMU was represented by a third-year student of Human Health at the Medical Faculty Mykhailo Dumnych, who in across-the-board competition took second place. A student from Transcarpathia Vladyslava Mazur was named the overall winner.

The contestants presented their talents, projects, and social activities at the Transcarpathian Regional Center for Children and Youth PADIYUN.

In their presentations the contestants introduced themselves, told about what they do and aspire to in life, demonstrated their talents in singing or dancing, and finally presented their social projects. Winners in this key category were Victoria Bahmet (Chernihiv region), Mykhailo Dumnych (Ternopil region), Iryna Ostrovsky (Kyiv), Julia Pokydko (Kherson region), Christina Suhostavska (Volyn region), and Ilya Yudyn (Kherson region). The Overall Winner was awarded to a third-year student of the Erdeli Transcarpathian Arts Institute Vladislava Mazur, who captivated the audience with her stiking stop-motion videos about the ongoing military conflict as well as incredibly emotional singing.

“I am truly happy for my fellow student from western Ukraine, she really deserved this victory. As a representative of the TSMU Student Council I presented a social project I Can Save Lives wchis tackles First Aid help. After the award ceremony the organizing committee told me that I took second place in this competition by the total number of points “- said Mykhailo Dumnych.
