TSMU students organized pageant “Miss Ghana in Ukraine”

Association of Ghanaian students of Ternopil State Medical University held a beauty pageant Miss Ghana, first such event in Ukraine. It took place in Ternopil’s Peremoga Ukrainian House. Our students wanted to use this event to bring together their compatriots from different Universities across Ukraine. This spectacular celebration drew many women, who competed the crown and title of the most beautiful.

The unforgettable night was studded with performances showcasing Ghana’s rich culture, music and dances. A girl from Lviv took the crown, the first runner-up was from Ivano-Frankivsk, and the second-runner up from Poltava.

The event was well designed and organized. TSMU students worked hard to make the night a success and for it to remain memorable for time to come. They hope to be able to continue producing similarly outstanding shows.
