TSMU students showcased their talents in a beauty pageant

Beauty contest Student Miss 2018, a celebration of grace and talent took place on April 15, 2018. Twelve contestants competed on the stage of Ternopil Drama Theater for the title of the most beautiful girl of Ternopil State Medical University

The event had oriental flair. This exotic setup was created by TSMU students from Egypt. MC Roman Balych played a role of a sultan. Helping Roman was Valentyn Kotyk.

The organizer of the event was Ternopil State Medical University Student Parliament, with the support from TSMU administration.

In the first round, the girls demonstrated their catwalk skills and the ability to introduce themselves.

 The next round focused on the diverse talents of TSMU students.

The traditional swimsuits round was also presented in oriental style. The contestants’ costumes resembled belly dance outfits.

The final round of the competition was the appearance in evening dresses.

In between the rounds, the audience watched performances by the Freedom dance studio, Tamani Dance Studio, Bugs Bunny cover band”, and the groups Tvorchi and Stand Up.

Fourth year student of the Faculty of Medicine Kateryna Bihuniak received the beauty queen title and crown.

Second year student of the Faculty of Dentistry Krystyna Kulikovska was the first runner-up; second year student of the Faculty of Medicine Victoria Khyliuk received the title of second runner-up.

First year student of the Institute of Nursing Olha Kovalchuk was named Miss Elegance,  first year student of the Faculty of Dentistry Inna Heval received the title of Miss Smile,  first year student of the Faculty of Medicine Diana Stechyshy became Miss Model, fourth year student of the Faculty of Medicine Victoria Kovalyk had won Miss Photo, and second year of the Faculty of Medicine Kateryna Dziuba was voted Miss Internet Likes. Other students received titles and awards from the sponsors: fourth year student of the Faculty of Medicine Kateryna Bihuniak was named Miss Just One, second year student of the Faculty of Medicine Victoria Khyliuk became Miss Ferrizo,  first year student of the Faculty of Medicine  Solomiia Sampara was named Miss Beauty Club, second year student of the Faculty of Medicine Halyna Demkovych received the title of Miss City Life, and second year student of the Faculty of Medicine Myroslava Kravchuk won the title of Miss Allure.

The audience had a chance to vote for Miss Congeniality. This title was awarded to the second year student Faculty of Dentistry Krystyna Kulikovska.
