Nearly One Hundred International Graduates of TNMU’s Faculty of Foreign Students Become Certified Doctors
The graduation ceremony for full-time students of the Faculty of Foreign Students took place on June 26, 2025, in the assembly hall of the administrative building of Ternopil National Medical University. On this festive day, graduates from ten countries — Brazil, Canada, Ghana, Zimbabwe, India, Kenya, Liberia, Nigeria, Poland, and the United Kingdom — gathered to receive their diplomas.

A total of 79 Master’s students in the specialty Medicine, 4 Master’s students in Public Health, 2 Master’s students in Dentistry, and 3 Bachelor’s students in Nursing successfully completed their studies at TNMU.

Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Students, Professor Mariia Marushchak, addressed the graduates with warm congratulations and wished them success in their professional and personal lives, as well as in their future careers.


Professor Marushchak presented diplomas with honors to Scherer Fernandez Belissa and Scherer Fernandez Jessica.





In addition to those who received diplomas with distinction, special certificates for academic excellence were awarded to graduates who achieved the highest scores in specific disciplines during the national licensing exam Krok 2. In Pediatrics, the top scorers were Abani Sophia Chisom, Vaijwade Krishnaraj Rajesh, Juwaria, and Oleru Ugochinyere Doreen. In Obstetrics and Gynecology, the highest scores were earned by Ayushi Varshney and Fatima Hera.







Certificates for academic achievement throughout their entire study period at TNMU were awarded to Karelia Eshita, Srivastava Kashish, Chetanbir Singh, Khot Samrudhi Ravinder, Rajmedhi Anukampa, Jena Subhasmita, and Yashsvini. These certificates were presented by Associate Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Students, Oksana Lebid.

Associate Professor Olena Pokryshko, responsible for student affairs and cultural development, awarded a certificate of appreciation to Panesar Avnish Pal for his long-term volunteer work during his student years, as well as for his support of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. His actions over the years reflected deep solidarity and a strong sense of humanity.

Speaking on behalf of the graduates, Adepoju Isaac Temitope expressed words of gratitude and performed a musical piece on the saxophone, dedicating it to all those present. In his speech, he highlighted the sacrifice made by doctors in times of war, disaster, and crisis. He called on everyone to observe a moment of silence in memory of fallen physicians and those who gave their lives for Ukraine’s independence.

Dauda Paul Wonlai presented a short stand-up performance reflecting on student life at TNMU.
