TNMU Faculty and Students Provide Aid for Pregnant Women, Mothers, and Newborns at the Perinatal Center of Ternopil City Hospital No. 2
On November 3, representatives of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University visited the Perinatal Center of Ternopil City Municipal Hospital No. 2 to deliver aid for pregnant women, new mothers, and newborns.
The initiative was supported by Associate Professor Taras Kadobnyi (Department of Higher School Pedagogy and Social Sciences), Associate Professor Tetiana Tolokova (Department of Physiology with Fundamentals of Bioethics), as well as medical students Sofiia Berehuliak and Kateryna Lushpynska.


The charitable initiative was carried out with the support of the university-wide volunteer movement “Misericordia” and the TNMU Student Parliament, and facilitated by the public organization “Desantno-Kozatskyi Rii”, which actively supports student volunteer activities.
The university representatives were warmly welcomed by Svitlana Kravets, Medical Director for Pediatrics and Maternity Services, and Olesia Berehuliak, Head of the Maternity Department. During the visit, the parties discussed further cooperation and emphasized the importance of social initiatives that support mothers and children.
TNMU faculty and students noted that such initiatives are not only an expression of compassion and humanity but also an essential part of fostering humanistic values among future healthcare professionals.
