“St. Nicholas Without Age” Initiative by the Caritas Charity Fund

In early December, at the initiative of the Center for Educational Work and Cultural Development at TNMU, students from the Medical Faculty joined the “St. Nicholas Without Age” campaign, organized by the Ternopil Charity Fund Caritas. Launched by the children who attend the organization, this project aimed to collect gifts for lonely elderly people. Later, the children, together with Caritas volunteers, will visit their beneficiaries, once again proving that even in times of war, people from vulnerable social groups must not be left without attention.

Group MM-317, along with their curator, Olena Hladii, Associate Professor in the Department of Pathological Anatomy with a Sectional Course and Forensic Medicine, joined the collection and purchased treats for elderly people.

Accompanied by the Head of the Center for Educational Work and Cultural Development, Associate Professor Marta Rudenko, students of group MM-317 — Sofiia Kotyk, Viktoriia Huliashcha, Viktoriia Khanas, and Arsenii Kuleshov — visited Caritas Ternopil, where the staff conducted an excellent tour of the facility, talked about their assistance to various population groups, and invited the students to participate in future projects.

We sincerely thank the students and curator of Group MM-317, Olena Hladii, for their compassion, as well as Professor Vitalii Shcherba, Head of the Department of Dentistry at the Faculty of Postgraduate Education, for his generous contribution and ongoing support of volunteer and charitable initiatives.
