During this year’s final of the National Selection for Eurovision 2023, the band TVORCHI, which will represent Ukraine at the contest in Liverpool, became the winner. The band consists of TNMU graduates – graduate of the Faculty of Pharmacy Andrii Hutsuliak and graduate of International Students Faculty Geoffrey Kenny (full name – Jimoh Augustus Kehinde). They will perform for Ukraine in Liverpool at the international song contest. The final of the National Selection took place in the Kyiv underground on December 17, 2022.

In the national selection, 10 singers and music bands competed for the right to perform at Eurovision 2023.

“TVORCHI” found their way to the hearts of the audience and received 10 points from them, and 9 from the jury. This number of points gave them the opportunity to win the National Selection for Eurovision-2023.

In 2020, they already tried their hand at this competition and reached the semi-finals. This time they got a chance to represent Ukraine in Europe.

“TVORCHI” is a Ternopil band founded in 2018 by sound producer Andrii Hutsuliak and vocalist Jeffrey Kenny. They perform songs in Ukrainian and English and they have already won several song awards.

At the Ukrainian music award YUNA-2021, which was held on May 12 at the National Palace of Arts “Ukraine”, the musical duo of Andrii Hutsuliak and Jeffrey Kenny won in the nominations “Best Pop Group”, “Best Album” and “Best Electronic Hit”.
