National Research and Training Conference “Achievements and Prospects of Internal Medicine: Management in Emergencies” Was Held in Ternopil State Medical University on March 24-25

The Law of Ukraine “On emergency medical assistance” (from 05.07.2012 № 5081-VI) and amendment by the Law No. 333-VII from 18/06/2013 was adopted and entered into force in 2012. This law determines organizational and legal framework to provide emergency medical care for the citizens of Ukraine and other persons within its territory. National research and training conference “Achievements and Prospects of Internal Medicine: Management in Emergencies” was held in Ternopil State Medical University on March 24-25 to ensure the implementation of this law in Ternopil region. Ukrainian and International Students of TSMU Contribute to Projects Implementation of the Youth Organization AIESEC

The students of Ternopil State Medical University are involved in social and voluntary projects. They find many opportunities for self-improvement out of educational process. Ternopil State Medical University is one of ten Ukrainian universities participating in the Strengthening Academic Integrity in Ukraine Project (SAIUP). This project is implemented by the American Councils for International Education in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the US Embassy. TSMU is the First in the Industry Ranking of All Medical Universities of Ukraine

Ternopil State Medical University is the first in the industry ranking of all medical universities of Ukraine, which is held annually by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. The ranking of the institutions of higher education of IV accreditation level and of postgraduate education of Ukraine was performed according to eight criteria: teaching, research, HR policy; international, national and specific field honours; education; clinical affairs; supplies; economic and business. The Student of TSMU Took Part in the International Youth Leaders Training

The 3rd year student of Ternopil State Medical University Iryna Pidhaina as a delegate of the National Youth Council of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Student Medical Association took part in the French-German-Polish-Ukrainian training in international youth projects. To participate in this international workshop students had to succeed at a rigorous competition. Five more young leaders also represented Ukraine. TSMU Students from Ghana Celebrated Independence Day of Their Native Country

Being far away from home and studying at Ternopil State Medical University, international students celebrated their national holidays. Recently, on March 5, Ghanaian students celebrated their Independence Day. A few activists prepared for their compatriots some surprises, competitions and treating. Association of Nigerian Students of Ternopil State Medical University Has a New President

On March 5 the scheduled elections of the president of the Association of Nigerian Students of Ternopil State Medical University. It was a great competition for this public position between two young people: the acting president Ehbuchulam Uchenna and the head of the subdivision of the European Medical Students’ Association Donald Odion.
