Traditional Rector Cup in futsal took place at TSMU

Student Parliament of Ternopil State Medical University hosted a futsal tournament for the Rector Cup at TSMU athletic complex on February 26 – March 1, 2018. TDMU received a grant from Embassy of the Czech Republic in Ukraine

Ternopil State Medical University researchers have won a grant announced by the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Ukraine. They will implement the project Development of Early Approaches to Physical Rehabilitation in Patients with Complicated Upper and Lower Extremity Fractures. TSMU expert informed Ternopil residents about measles and the methods of its prevention

This winter season saw frequent reports in the media about the increase of cases of measles diseases in Ternopil region and Ukraine. Six cases of measles were reported in Ternopil region since the start of the year. Doctors recorded the most recent case on January 9. The percentage of vaccinated children aged 1 to 6 in Ternopil reached 98%, while the percentage of children of all ages who had been vaccinated is 76%. About a month ago Ternopil State Medical University on its website launched first in a series of photo contests on the topic of student life. International football tournament took place at TSMU

For two weeks in a row, on weekends (3-4 and 10-11 February 2018), an international football tournament took place at the sports complex of Ternopil State Medical University. Twelve student teams took part in the competition. The teams included student athletes from Iraq, Egypt, Ghana, Nigeria, India, Morocco, Cameroon, and Ukraine. On January 19-20, 2018 an educational seminar on stroke ESC Heart & Brain Workshop took place in Prague, Czech Republic. A new version of the Webometrics Ranking of World Universities, published in January 2018, presents web performance of universities in last six months.
