Help protect those who need it!” – it is the words Solomiia Berehuliak and Mariia Solomakhina, the 1st-year students of the Faculty of Medicine, organized an event on December 16, 2021. TNMU Students Informed Ternopil Pupils About the Dangers of Tuberculosis

On December 16, 2021, Maksym Filipchak, a student of TNMU, talked on the issues of tuberculosis prevention in Ukraine with pupils of N. Yaremchuk Lyceum School No. 6. The aim of the lesson was to inform the 8th form students about the urgency of the issue of tuberculosis spread among the population, about the disease, ways of its transmission, the first symptoms and methods of prevention. This year the TV Prize “Ternopil Pride” was established by Ternopil-1 and INTB TV channels. Anyone could submit a candidate or team for this award in 20 nominations. TNMU Students Flourished an Honorary Mission of St. Nicholas’ Assistants

For the most anticipated children’s holiday of winter – St. Nicholas Day, the volunteers of Ternopil National Medical University launched a campaign “Nicholas will not forget about you”, which raised funds for disadvantaged children to present them unforgettable emotions. In total, the amount of UAH 34,325 was collected. “We received 10 letters from children; they wrote their wishes and needs. Assistant Professor of the Department of Psychiatry, Narcology and Medical Psychology Trained in Hungary

During December 5-11, Tetiana Ivanitska, the Assistant Professor of the Department of Psychiatry, Narcology and Medical Psychology of I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University, took part in advanced training according to the method of Biosuggestive Therapy. Team of Ukrainian Students won the Rector’s Medical Quiz at TNMU

For several years, international students have been organizing medical quizzes at I. Horbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University. Due to quarantine, this event was postponed to December 3, 2021. Seven teams applied for the medical quiz. Each of them represented their country: Ghana, Nigeria, Ukraine, India, Poland, Zimbabwe and Sierra Leone. During seven rounds, the team members demonstrated their knowledge in medicine.
